formerly of Huntington Road, passed peacefully at Massachusetts General
Hospital in Boston on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
She was born in Greenfield, December 17, 1942 and was the daughter of the late
Stanley and Blanche Naperkowski.
She met Christopher Russo at Northampton Community College in 1960, and in May
of 1965 they married. They were 2 years shy of their 50th wedding anniversary
when Chris died after a year of battling cancer.
Cindy loved spending time with family, hosting many memorable gatherings. She
was an avid gardener and learned a lot from her time working as an office
administrator at CLFrank. Cindy had a passion and love for cooking and many of
her dishes are staples at family holidays. Always health conscious, she rarely
missed her daily walks around the neighborhood.
Cindy is survived by daughter Kimberly and her husband, Douglas Staut and their
daughters Hailey and Clara of Brentwood, Tennessee and son James and his wife
Elizabeth Tarleton of Canterbury, Connecticut.
